It’s been a while since I participated in Ann Again’s Virtual Girls Night Out on Fridays but I happen to have 5 minutes to sit down and breathe. What better way to spend some breathing time than by enjoying a girls night?
Here’s how it goes. Ann provides a drink recipe which I substitute with ginger ale since I don’t drink. She also provides us with musical entertainment and a game to play. Tonight’s game is Would You Rather…? I play this game with my kids when we’re driving.
Would you rather eat a crocodile or a giraffe? Would you rather share a room with someone stinky or someone noisy? Would you rather kiss your mom or a gross hairy woman? I try to keep things humorous so I can hear the kids giggle.
Tonight question is… Would you rather be able to read your spouse’s mind or have them read your mind?
Personally I would rather read Chuck’s mind. I would LOVE to know how things get processed in his head. We are very different personalities but similar enough to make for a great relationship. Even so, I would jump at the chance to peek inside his thoughts. I wouldn’t want him in my head though. I like my personal space!
Here’s the musical entertainment for our girls night.
I am adding another video because I love this song and the video is amazingly fun.
Shine – Take That
Happy VGNO–so glad you decided to do it again. I end up missing a Friday here or there either because I’m crazy with the kids or, on the odd occasion, I actually am going to have a real night out (as opposed to a virtual one!). Anyway–glad to see you back again. Have a wonderful weekend
Happy VGNO! This is my first time to the party.
And just for fun….
1.crocodile
2.someone noisy
3. Mom, of course!

All That and a Box of Rocks
Yeah, I am with you on this one for the same reasons. I’d rather read his mind. Way too protective of what goes on in mine!
Happy GNO!
I love this whole VGNO idea! My first one, too.
I’d def rather be able to have him read mine. Then I wouldn’t have to ask him to do stuff. He’d just do it. Imagine how handy that would be while you’re doing the nasty! Eh? It has it practical uses, ladies!!!
Cheers! Happy VGNO. I like that Shine song. Upbeat!!
I agree. I want to know what’s going on in his mind. There has to be more than football and sex?!
Ok, I’ll play:
1. Crocodile- giraffes are too cute!
2. Someone stinky-Noise is bothersome, and I can put a clothespin or something on my nose!
3. Kiss my mom- she shaves (just kidding!)
BTW, in response to Ann’s question, there are some Days Ron WOULD NOT want to know what I’m thinking! I’m not always sure I want to know what he’s thinking either!
Have a Happy VGNO!
Happy VGNO.
I would not like to be in his mind or him in mine. I would lose IQ points and he would get confused and walk into walls LOL
Happy VGNO. I would rather kiss my mom, only cause I miss her so much. I have eaten aligator does that count?
I would rather read Kahuna’s mind. Sometimes I wonder how he slows it down enough to sleep.
I would rather read my fiance’s mind than have him read mine. I think he’d suffer a seizure trying to keep up with all of my thoughts! Happy VGNO!
Yeah, I don’t want anyone reading my crazy mind!
Happy late VGNO!
I’m going to comment on your previous post because I want to say how brave I think you home-schooling parents are. I don’t think I could ever take that on, but boy do the schools make it tempting. Also, whenever I hear someone start to fret because her child has been sent for an ADD eval, I say, “look, we are all ADD – we can fast-forward through commercials; we can reach anyone instantly; we get annoyed if a file takes more than 30 seconds to download; tv shows get cancelled after 2 episodes. We are an ADD culture. Anyway, happy belated VGNO!
