This time it’s really finished

I was up until after 2:00 a.m. putting the finishing touches on this apron and I’m thrilled with it!

It’s exactly what I wanted and Jason is happy with it as well, as you can see. He’s already made me poached eggs on toast which is very helpful because my neck won’t turn.

I slept funny and now I can’t turn my neck or look up although I somehow drove to the chiropractor. The kids have been great with helping me so I hope that continues once it’s no longer considered fun to help out their laid up mama.

I’ve been told to take it easy, not do much and keep ice on my neck but I keep thinking about tackling that smock and tote that I want to make for David. Everyone has benefited from new hobby except him.

I’m going to put together a tutorial on how I made this reversible apron so girlfriend Alyson has it and so that anyone who wants to can try it. It’s easy and I gained a ton of help from tutorials on other websites.

I’m going to make a matching apron for my nephew so I’ll take pictures and make the tutorial when I do that.

I’m going to bed with a bag of ice. Wish me luck!

that’s wonderful Jen, I think less concentration or I should say less rigid concentration might help with the stiff neck maybe occasional stretching and moving about during project, eh? What can I say, I’m a mom.

I hope you don’t give my wife any ideas with these aprons. Goodness knows that woman doesn’t need anything else on her plate!! I’ve never seen such a busy woman.

Love the apron and it being reversible!

Just thought I’d check in on you as it’s been awhile since you posted. Hope all is well? My family has come down with a terrible cold/cough including myself. Ick, we are miserable these past few days.
