Things are going to change

Here’s what’s going on. My picture file for my blog has been deleted or compromised or however you want to describe it. The result is that all of my pictures are showing up as little gray squares which lead to no where. Chuck can now attest to how dangerous it is to work on your wife’s blog when it’s late and you’re tired. I can now attest to how dangerous it is to sleep in the other room when it’s late at night and your husband is working on your blog.

Lesson learned.

So in an attempt to cover up the fact that I no longer have pictures I am going to bombard my blog with new pictures.

Prepare yourself.

It’s hard to imagine that my backyard was covered in thick snow and that all the neighborhood boys had turned my back hill into the Olympic training center because all the snow has disappeared and my kids are outside in sweaters without gloves or hats. It’s back to normal Autumn weather but a couple days ago we had a butt load of snow, which is a whole lot as anyone can tell you.

My kids can be outside all day if I wasn’t worried about frostbite. I don’t know why those kids can’t keep a hat and a pair of gloves on!

David is my child that I worry about the most. He would go outside in shorts and flip-flops on the coldest day of the year if I wasn’t paying attention. Even once I get him into winter gear he rips half of it off once he’s safely in the backyard.

My boys got cold and came inside for hot chocolate and some computer time. Their faces were pink, their fingers and toes were cold and they had lost the excitement to be surrounded by frozen water.

The tough boys, retreating from the cold

While the boys were hiding from the cold Jocelyn was still outside working on the snow fort she was intending to finish before dinner time. She’s hard core!

I have a tendency to give a treat to the little kids when the big kids are out enjoying the freedom afforded them because they’re old enough to go outside unsupervised. On this day Laurelyn got left over pumpkin pie from Thanksgiving. Laurelyn can get pretty obsessed with her food. I can’t believe she can have such a love affair with solid food and still want to nurse so much. She’s hard core!

What?

So there you have it. A bunch of pictures to make up for all the thousands of pictures which have disappeared into the black cyber hole. Everything will be back to normal soon and hopefully with a gorgeous new wordpress theme that does everything I want it to. Can’t Christmas come any sooner?
