I showed up at our church expecting a Stampede Breakfast twice. Both times the parking lot was empty and I had put on lipstick for nothing. Today however, my third attempt, I found the parking lot full and the games in full swing. There was live entertainment, games, a cake walk, face painting and a hill that had a lot of fun with. All sorts of planned entertainment but the kids and I had more fun running up and down the hill, rolling down the hill and charging down the hill yelling “Freedom!” for everyone to hear.
I hope we didn’t disturb the hearty country music too badly with our wild abandon.
No pictures of my little Laurelyn because she slept through the whole blessed thing!
Ah, to be young again.
Jocleyn was overjoyed about winning a cake at the cake walk. She chose one that had flowers ant butterflies on it made out of candy. No surprise there!
Luckily Chuck thought ahead and took plenty of pictures of the whole event so if we missed anything because of our hilltop distraction we can always check out the 137 pictures he took.
This one I took to have proof that he was there.

that is such a blast I’m glad you guys declared freedom, and that it’s been decided that you are free to play and roll down hills, there’s no better mommy than the one who will roll down hills with the kids. “yahoo”
