Potential potty training

December 27th, 2009 by Jen the Mom

I remember reading somewhere that if a child can use words to say that they need to go potty and can get their clothes off then they’re reading to b potty trained.

Well, Laurelyn just told me that she had ALREADY pooped and needed a bum change, as we call it in our house. I didn’t move fast enough for her so she unsnapped her onesie, pulled her diaper off, wrapped it up and left it on the kitchen floor for me.

She’s thoughtful like that!

I’m pulling the potty out tonight and we’ll see if she’ll let me introduce the two of them. I’ve tried sitting her on the regular toilet and she freaks out like I’m trying to flush her. Crazy child!

I’m sure you want to read all about the potty mayhem so I’ll keep you updated. Maybe I’ll even add pictures! Lucky you!
