Today was the much anticipated first day of fencing lessons. My kids have been fans of The Princess Bride, Peter Pan, and any other movie with swords that start with the letter ‘P’.
Today they learned to lunge, attack, defend and kill. Well, not really kill but David was upset that he didn’t get to stick around and learn how to kill.
Silly David.
With all this talk of swords and handsome pirates (what? weren’t we talking about handsome pirates?) it reminded me of this scene from Princess Bride.
