The presents are opened. The toys are strewn around. The Christmas baking is now on our hips and not on pretty plates. The Christmas tree is starting to sag and we’re all feeling like it’s time to send those children back to school. Am I right? Well, there’s one more holiday to celebrate before we can let the season go.
New Years.
I don’t know why 2010 feels like such an achievement but it does. I’m expecting some great things to happen this coming year. I’m going to be potty training and weaning my last baby. Although those last two aren’t things I’m looking forward to. I am looking forward to a very joyful year and after all the Christmas carols I have had Joy to the World on my brain but maybe not the version you’re expecting.
Ever heard of Three Dog Night? I remember my dad listening to them and every time I hear this song I think of my Dad.
