This is a picture of a famous bridge in the South of France. I’m putting this picture up here because I’m going walk across that bridge in one week!
Cool, I know!
I’m so excited. Chuck has a friend in France who he met years ago when he lived in France as a missionary. Actually Chuck baptized her. Anyway, she is getting married to an amazing guy and Chuck wanted to be there. We didn’t think that we would be able to find a way to afford for me to go but we found a last minute seat sale. I am now leaving for Paris in one week.
One week!
I’m stunned because I wasn’t planning on being there but now it’s almost all I can think about. I keep looking online at pictures of places I want to go. I’m already having nightmares of forgetting how to speak because I’m probably going to go a week without talking because I DON’T KNOW FRENCH!
Nothing like baptism by fire though, right?
The three older kids are staying with Chuck’s sister while we’re away and I hope they have a good time and I will be praying for Belinda. We’re going to have to buy her bucket loads of chocolate to pay her back for taking the kids!
8 days in France.
I can’t even speak right now, which is good. I’m practicing already.

Yeah! Congratulations, you are going to have SO much fun!!
THAT ROCKS Jen. I saw a seat sale to Paris about a month ago and was like WOW what fun that would be.
Have a great time and don’t forget to post lots of Pics for those of us that wish we were leaving on a jet plane. Cue Song!! “I’m leaving on a jet plane” tee hee.
I’m so happy to hear you are going to France. It’s one of my favorite places. The wine and food is unbelievable. Don’t even get me started on the history and beauty of the place. Truly spectacular. I can’t wait to hear how your trip goes.
Best,
Michael
