It’s a little rough.

I can breath today. I can see clearly and I can actually feed my children throughout the day. I just might make dinner tonight. I know, it’s crazy but I’m loving it. I feel good. My house is relatively tidy and David is sleeping which means that I am headed for a nap.

Before I sleep my way into dreamland I thought that I would show you what our house looks like now. Yesterday was our rough-in walk through. We got to walk through our house and see where we will eat breakfast, read by the fire and bathe mud out of the kids’ hair. It was awesome. I can’t believe how quickly they’ve been able to make it go from a mound of dirt to a house with windows, doors and a roof.

As you can see there is still much to be done but it’s in progress and really, that’s all I want to see. The neighborhood is becoming inhabited with neighbors and hopefully by the time we get there it’ll be a higher percentage of neighbors then construction trucks.

Awesome! Yay! I’m happy for you. Where’s the red door, though? =P

I’m glad someone else noticed the WHITE door. It was the first thing I noticed too. The door is painted just before we move in so it’ll be red but for right now it’s white until the tradesmen stop running back and forth with equipment. They don’t want to scratch my red paint.

  3. It looks fabulous—and you look like you’ll have a nice view! It must be great to see it getting so close to being finished.

    Jen,
I love it! I can’t wait to see pictures when it is done.

And, on the being pregnant front, I think it is great that you are being honest with yourself and your feelings. I think getting them out there will help you.

I know I’m far away, but if you ever want to talk, you can email me for my number and we can chat!

Well done arictle that. I’ll make sure to use it wisely.
