I contributed an interview to an online stress summit (because I am the picture girl for stressing out daily!) and I was asked to send them a headshot of myself for the website and I was stumped! I am not a professional. I am a blogger. I’m not fancy or hoity-toity enough to have headshots of myself. I think I have more than a thousand pictures of my kids and I am sure that almost half of those are beautiful close ups that would be perfect if it was THEM that had contributed to the telesummit.
Alas, I am not that lucky. I think I spent two hours trying to figure out what lighting was best, which lipstick actually showed up on camera, how not to look like a makeup truck fell on my face and most importantly how to lean my head so my face doesn’t fold into my turtle neck.
