It’s quiet.
That’s rare.
It’s clean.
That’s even more rare.
If my home could speak I wonder if she would hate me for everything I have put her through lately. We’ve had piles of dirty and stinking laundry because the dryer broke right when the kids soaked the bathroom floor and the children used every towel in the house to sop up the water.
I did hang one load of towels to dry out on the balcony but after using a hard and crunchy to towel to dry off my soft and tender skin I decided I’d rather have a pile of dirty and stinking clothes.
Sorry house, I apologize but you should have felt those towels.
Ouch!
I’m lying in bed in the middle of the day! Still in my pajamas. Eating my kids’ snacks.
I wish every day could be a weekend.
