Every girl needs a new pair of shoes
I think I’ve mentioned before that Tammy and I exchange birthday cakes. I make her kids’ cakes and she makes my kids theirs. Tomorrow is a birthday party for Tammy’s 2 year old and I’m spending far too much time looking at pictures of cakes on flickr and any other picture sharing website I can find.
The birthday girl is obsessed with shoes and has more pairs of shoes than I do so I wanted to make a shoe cake. How hard can it be to make a cake in the shape of a shoe. If I don’t care what it looks like than it’s pretty dang easy. Unfortunately I have just spent enough time looking at crappy shoe cakes and amazing shoe cakes and I decided that if I don’t do anything else today or tonight, this girl is getting one freaking amazing shoe cake.
Anybody ever made a freaking amazing shoe cake before because I’m clueless.

Okay Jen, this is a little bit of a stretch first of all what does
ROBEEZ mean? Is it a type of shoe and secondly it doesn’t resemble any shoes I’ve seen, what am I missing? I do think it’s awesome that you guys have such cool traditions. I wish I were there.

Mom, Robeez are a baby slipper/shoe made of leather. They’re really good. I know I didn’t make a very good rendition of a shoe. Maybe next time.
